Deferred Inspection

A Deferred Inspection occurs when a foreign traveler to the U.S. gets paroled into the U.S. for later inspection (this often occurs in a few days). The inspection will typically take place at a United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office, or, in some cases, back at an airport.
